Individual Cherry Clafoutis
This item is one that I have wanted to do for a while. Very easy in this version in that it uses frozen fruit. However, I learned that when you read about a traditional clafouti, it won't be a misprint when the recipe calls for unpitted cherries. Yes, unpitted. There is a reason: first, leaving the pits in prevents the clafouti batter from turning red. And second, spitting out the pits is considered part of the traditional fun of a clafouti. Sounds romantic for a lover's dinner, huh? Enjoy!
Winter Vegetable Mix
This is a nice mix of vegetables with a touch of something different to glaze. This would be great for something just a little different at Thanksgiving, but Grandma will probably get the credit. Old bag! Just kidding, Grandma. Don't forget to take your pills. Anyway, I digress. Enjoy!
